ABOUT CHEF RUTHERFORD

I have had the pleasure of teaching Culinary Arts courses for Fulton County Schools since January 2009. Courses I teach include Introduction to Cuilnary Arts, Culinary Arts I, and Culinary Arts II. In addition I am also our school's FCCLA adviser.  I am very passionate about the College and Career Academy's Culinary program that I share with Chef Genia Williams and Ashely Stewart by way of Work Based Learning.

I completed my Associates degree at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Atlanta. When I am not teaching, I operate my catering business which became my niche during the course of my career. What I enjoy most about teaching my field, is inpsiring young people to explore the many career options in the industry and fostering a true appreciation for food and the arts.

In addition to my professional life, I am happily married and a proud mother to my sons Bastian and Braylen.
